Who am I?

Who am I?

Who am I?

Hi, my name is Oscar.

I am a german UX designer, based in Bali.

From tattoo artist to bespoke camper van builder, I was fascinated by turning ideas into reality long before I got into tech.

I am passionate about understanding user behaviour, and building products that give real-life value to people.

Solving problems with user needs at the core of the design process, I noticed that most of the time, the simplest solution, is also the most effective one.

At the end of the day, I want to help you to understand your user base better and help turn your visions into helpful products, that enable people to do what they love.

In the past, I have worked with tech startups, business coaches, and Greenpeace partners to create compelling products that create a close relationship between the company and its audience.

I have been awarded the “best designer award” by my wife, and some of my work is displayed on my mom's fridge.

My most recent projects are still in development and have not been released yet.

As I respect the confidentiality of the companies I work with, they are not included in my portfolio.

That said, I am happy to present the concepts on a call.

My other hobbies

My other hobbies

My other hobbies

Another hobby-turned-job of mine is tattooing.

I started tattooing myself and my friends (only the ones that wanted, of course) back in 2019.

When more and more people approached me to get a tattoo done, I decided to build out, move into a camper van, and travel along the European Atlantic coast tattooing everyone in sight :)

I love the creativity and purity of tattooing.

They have so much personality, no two are the exact same, and there are no limits to them.

I stopped tattooing as a job when I got into product design, and went back to doing it as a hobby and just for myself.
